We collect information you provide directly when using Tassie, including: account information (name, email address, phone number), client information entered by program operators (names, dates of birth, addresses, scheduling details, care requirements), parent and guardian contact information, and staff and caregiver information (names, contact details, availability).
We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including device type, browser type, and usage patterns. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use the information we collect to: operate and maintain the scheduling platform, send SMS notifications about schedules and program updates, process payments through our billing provider (Stripe), authenticate users and secure accounts through our authentication provider (Clerk), provide customer support, and improve the Service.
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service. Program operators can view information about their clients, staff, and authorized parents within their organization. Parents can view their linked dependent's schedule and assigned caregiver information. We use the following third-party service providers: Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, Twilio for SMS messaging, Railway for hosting, and Calendly for scheduling intro calls with prospective customers. These providers access only the data necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication through Clerk, and organization-level data isolation ensuring each program operator can only access their own data.
Tassie uses Twilio to send SMS messages containing schedule information to authorized recipients. Messages are sent at the direction of program operators. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications by contacting your program operator or by emailing us. We do not use phone numbers for marketing purposes.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you or your program operator requests deletion of your data, we will remove it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and opt out of SMS communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
Parents and caregivers using the Tassie mobile app can delete their account at any time by visiting tassie.app/account/delete or by using the "Delete Account" option on the Profile screen in the app.
Tassie is not directed at children under 13. Client information about minors or dependents is entered and managed by authorized program operators and parents, not by the dependents themselves.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
